(APPLE VALLEY) –- St. Mary Medical Center and Angel’s Roadhouse #2 are teaming up to help cure hunger in the High Desert.
Karaoke 4 a Cure for Hunger is a great and fun way to help our communityprovide for those in need and will be held Nov. 13, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Angel’s Roadhouse #2, 13685 John Glenn Road in Apple Valley.
Children and those under the age of 21, are welcome to attend until 10 p.m.
St. Mary and Angel’s Roadhouse are currently collecting food items. The goal is to collect 2,500 items to donate to Samaritan’s Helping Hand and any additional funds collected will go to The Lord’s Table to provide meals to local residents in need.
Anyone interested can drop off items of nonperishable and non-expired food
at Angel’s Roadhouse #2. For every five items donated, the donor will receive an opportunity drawing ticket, and for every 20 items donated the donor can receive five tickets.
The night will be filled with fun Karaoke and the Opportunity Drawing all for the price of five donated food items.
