“Every mask hides a smile.”
That’s the theme for the first-ever Masquerade Ball coming to Kinari Bistro Saturday, January 29 from 7:30 p.m. to midnight. All ticketed guests will be treated to an evening of live music and dancing, a glass of French wine, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Tickets are $75 per couple, $40 per individual. Pre-sale tickets will also receive a fancy masquerade-style mask. For at-the-door purchases fancy masks will be on sale and up for auction. The evening will also include raffle baskets with everything necessary to prepare for Valentine’s Day and more. Tickets are available to purchase online at www.HDRotary.com.
Held by the Rotary Club of the High Desert in honor of community leader Betty Towle, this charity event will raise funds to create smiles through service projects such as RotaPlast: cleft palate and lip surgeries for low income children in Guatamala. Funds raised may also assist in Corazon: a home building endeavor in Mexico and local projects such as assisting low income seniors with yard maintenance and household chores.
Tickets are available January 1 and sponsorships are still welcome. For more information become a friend at facebook.com/rotaryclub.highdesert, visit www.HDRotary.com or call Elizabeth Brown at (760) 954-7571.
