(Victor Valley) – The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center, a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) at California State University, San Bernardino is introducing a Small Business Expansion Program. Participating businesses will complete an assessment to determine weaknesses in bookkeeping, accounting, human resources, marketing, operations, management, sales, and strategic planning. Experts will work with each business owner to strengthen processes, retain existing and create new jobs, increase sales, decrease expenses, reduce accounts receivable to 45 days or less, and generate cash flow greater than debt service.
The center is recruiting 12 unique businesses that have potential for growth. Each business accepted into the program will take an assessment to determine their area of need and will then receive free technical assistance to reach pre-determined goals. The services provided will accelerate the stability and growth of each company by identifying critical weaknesses and providing the expertise necessary to develop a system to mitigate the weaknesses. These objectives will be accomplished through the following activities: Assessing the Business, Mastermind Group Meetings, Business Training, and One-on-one Business Consulting.
