(Victorville) When you hear the words Real Estate, the first thing that comes to mind may be buying a home. But did you know that Commercial Real Estate is thriving even in these trying economic times? People are taking the risk while rates are low and opening a new business or expanding their current venture.
Enter the Kursch Group.
Seasoned agents Rob Kurth, Jeremy Schmidt, James Langley and Ryan Travis recently joined forces and created the Kursch Group, a commercial real estate firm. Each of the four men are equal partners, non-commissioned sales agents at this firm. With only one month in their new office space, this reporter was surprised to see them running an already successful endeavor.
Their Ridgecrest business park office suite is made up of matching cubicles, office furniture, coffee station, and reception area. Their conference room is the only work in progress. This is not your usual start-up business, for many reasons.
With over 40 years of combined experience and closed deals totaling more than $250 million, the four owners of the Kursch Group have created the first true “boutique” commercial real estate firm in the High Desert. “We are excited to take on any deal, of any size and will give 100% to our clients to secure the right deal for them,” states Kurth.
Rob emphasizes that merit of their character and each transaction is more important than simple rule of volume. Each of the four partners explained their personal and professional reasons for coming together to form this company and though the reasons varied, they all echoed this philosophy of finding the right deal for their client.
Jeremy Schmidt shares, “We are building a company that is bigger than one person.”
“Sales” is all about relationships. Each client has the potential to become a future client or provide a client through referral. Kursch Group approaches each assignment with the purpose of providing real estate solutions and cultivating those relationships. And business must be going well, as James Langley answered several phone calls and emails during our interview.
When asked about their local connections Ryan Travis shared how each of the partners are local residents, are involved in various civic responsibilities, their own children’s sports teams and most importantly, bringing new business and new jobs to the area
