(Lucerne Valley)–Isabel Gallardo and Jenifer Aldridge were successful in gathering volunteer teams from Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego to assist at Harmony Haven, Lucerne Valley. They are also seeking temporary foster families for two new litters.

“We are very thankful for the support and help that has been provided so far, however more help is definitely needed. Bobbie Perrins is very thankful and overwhelmed by the support from volunteers but more help from the local community is needed,” Gallardo stated.

Some of the items that local residents can drop off are dog kennels, tarps for cold weather, dog blankets, and dry dog food. More volunteers are need for the remainder of the month. If anyone is interested in volunteering they can contact Kat Harrison at 760 948 8368. All medical donations can me made to the Bear Valley Animal Hospital located at 20991 Bear Valley Road, Apple Valley, Phone Number 760 240 5228.

The Rescuers are also requesting local vets to discount their services. It’s a great way to help the animals. Local Residents are also welcome to come by and adopt a beautiful needy pet.

Everyone at Harmony Haven is very Grateful for the support and donations so far, but more assistance is needed for a permanent resolution.

You can make a positive difference.
