(Hesperia)– The contest begins today and runs through April 22, 2011. Children attending school in the Hesperia Unified School District can pick-up their coloring pages from the HesperiaCity Hall, located at 9700 Seventh Avenue, or download the page from the City’s website at www.cityofhesperia.us. All entries must be received at City Hall no later than 4 pm on April 22, to qualify for the contest judging and prizes. Coloring pages will be judged on creativity and neatness.
“This coloring contest is a fun way to remind the children of Hesperia about the importance of saving water, recycling and protecting our environment,” said Mayor Mike Leonard. “Each year we have been so impressed with the level of creativity that the students put into their coloring pages, and I am sure that this year will be no different.”
