(Apple Valley)– In an effort to weigh in on the issue of healthy living, the Town of Apple Valley will host a Workplace Weight Watchers group on Mondays at noon.
The program is part of the Town’s Healthy Apple Valley Coalition that strives to improve the health and well-being of residents through the promotion of healthy eating, education, cooking programs, and physical activity.
The employees at the Town of Apple Valley would like to welcome residents and employees of local businesses to join in on this life-changing venture. Workplace Weight Watchers is open for public enrollment and will meet for 17 weeks in the Town’s Recreation Center at 14955 Dale Evans Parkway. The cost is $14 per week and includes access to the Weight Watchers eTools system. The program will begin once enrollment reaches the minimum number of participants required.
The Healthy Apple Valley Coalition was made possible through a grant from the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health – Healthy Communities Program.
