Chamber’s Legislative Committee Opposes More Killer Bills

(Victor Valley)–Numerous California Chamber of Commerce-opposed “job killer” bills remain alive and will be considered by legislative policy committees in the coming months. This annually released list of “job killers” includes 28 proposed laws which threaten California employers with new costly workplace and employee benefit mandates, economic development barriers, regulatory burdens and inflated liability costs. In an effort to protect California’s economy and local business the Victorville Chamber of Commerce’s Legislative Action Committee has already voted to oppose six of the Job Killer bills to include: AB 10, AB 22, AB 59, AB 400, SB 568, and SB 653.
