(Victor Valley)–The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino will host a three-part workshop on Wednesday, June 15, Tuesday, June 21, and Wednesday, June 29 to help business owners establish their accounting system using QuickBooks accounting software.
“Get Control With QuickBooks” is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the center’s main office which is located at 202 E. Airport Drive, Suite 100 in San Bernardino near Hospitality Lane. The cost of the workshop is $125 per person or $200 for 2 participants. The three-part workshop will be instructed by a LaVonne Shields from Management Consultants of America.
The workshops will introduce attendees to the QuickBooks 2009 program. The course will take them step-by-step through the process of setting up their bookkeeping system using the QuickBooks software. QuickBooks software provides you the tools necessary to easily organize your accounting tasks enabling you to efficiently manage your business finances. Attendees will get started using QuickBooks by setting up a company using QuickBooks software. Participants will learn to work with bank accounts, how to create invoices, how to manage accounts payable, how to process payroll, and much more.
The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The IEWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.
The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.
The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only. The center also has a part-time outreach office in Corona, where it meets clients by appointment only on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
