LA Music Festival Artist Of The Year To Close Out AV Concert Series

By Staff Reports

(Apple Valley)–From classic rock to country, Latin to swing and from top 40 to Motown, the variety of music has drawn big crowds to the Town of Apple Valley Sunset Concert Series this summer. This trend is expected to continue when Justin Foutz, 2010 Los Angeles Music Festival “Country Artist of the Year” closes out the series next week on August 25, sponsored by the Apple Valley Rotary Club.

Foutz, a 27-year-old singer, songwriter and guitar player, performs an energetic mix of country, blues and rock, and was most recently seen on the hit TV show Glee with Gwyneth Paltrow. Foutz will take the stage from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Spectators should bring a blanket or chair for lawn seating, but must leave pets and alcohol at home.

An array of food choices, a beer garden and a sampling of farmers market vendors round out the experience at the amphitheater, which was named a “Best of the Desert” location for live performances in a recent Daily Press readers’ survey.

Civic Center Park is located at 14995 Dale Evans Parkway, adjacent to Apple Valley Town Hall and across from the Apple Valley Commons shopping center where the entertainment will continue in a more intimate venue with Concerts in The Courtyard every Thursday night in September.
