Victorville Neighborhood Watch Groups Can Help VV Police

By Staff Reports

(Victorville)–The City of Victorville currently has approximately 35 Neighborhood Watch Groups. It is not possible to have a deputy on every street watching for suspicious activity. However, residents can act as the eyes and the ears of our community by being aware of their surroundings and reporting suspicious activity. No one knows better than you when something looks out of place on your street.

Victorville Police Station recently held National Night Out at Hook Park. This is an event of safety information, fun and games and food for those interested in keeping their community safe. We had a great turn out by the already established Neighborhood Watch Groups and several interested residents in starting their own watches.

If you live in the city limits of Victorville and are interested in starting a Neighborhood Watch, please contact our office for more information.

Call Karen Hunt at 760-241-2911 or go online to victorvillepd.org and complete a request form for information to get your watch started.
