Youth Activities League Looking For Involvement From Local Businesses

By Staff Reports

(Victorville)–The Victorville Police & Fire Activities League is the first in the nation to include both Police Officers and Firefighters. The current program involves the training of young men and women in the art of boxing. Each of the participants must also go through a leadership training class with the PFAL partner, One 2 One Mentors. Currently the program has 45 participants and is growing. They are looking to the business community for your help in sustaining the program through adopting the PFAL for one month out of the year for a $1,000 contribution. Should you be interested in finding out more about the program and becoming a sponsor, please contact Mayor Ryan McEachron at (760) 269-3300.
