(Victor Valley)–“Old School Games” is the theme of a Family Fun Day at the San Bernardino County Museum on Saturday, October 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities, which are designed for children ages 3 to 12 and their families, are included with paid museum admission.
“Come try out some toys and games from the ‘good old days’ of your grandparents – or maybe even your great-great grandparents!” said Nancy Kirkwood, museum educator. “We’ll have tin can telephones, button-on-a-string, Jacob’s ladder, whirly gigs, hoop-and-trundle, the Graces, and much more.”
The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 9 am to 5pm. General admission is $8 (adult), $6 (military or senior), $5 (student), and $4 (child aged 5 to 12). Children under five and Museum Association members are admitted free. Parking is free. For more information, visit www.sbcountymuseum.org.
The museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.
