By Nikki Garrett Metzger

(Victorville) – Job seekers: at least 100 job openings at United Furniture Industries (UFI), the company that has just leased space at Southern California Logistics Center, will be up for grabs at the job fair in Victorville tomorrow.

In addition to UFI, several companies are planning to attend the fair, according to Oren Brown, Development Director of Diversity Solutions who is hosting the event.

Included in the lineup are Southwest Gas, AVR Water, the California Highway Patrol, La Verne College, St. Mary Medical Center, and many others.

“This is an opportunity to bring job seekers and companies together,” said Brown. “It is a chance for people looking for employment to network and form relationships with the people in charge of hiring at those companies.”

Brown says to dress for success and bring resumes, business cards, pen and paper. Recruiters will be on hand speaking to applicants as well as representatives of many industries.

The fair starts tomorrow at 11:00 am at Victorville City Hall, training rooms 1 and 2.
