(Victor Valley)-– If you are planning to travel into or out of the San Bernardino area this week be prepared for delays and detours as CalTrans crews close down the 215 freeway to work on the Baseline Street Bridge.
I-215 will be closed in both directions at night between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Oct. 4th, 5th, and 6th to safely remove temporary bridge structures at Baseline Street.
If you are traveling south from the High Desert into San Bernardino you will be detoured to westbound SR-210 and taken off at State Street. Travelers coming north out of San Bernardino travelers will be taken off at the Baseline Street exit.
Full night time freeway closures are also planned for Oct. 9th through the 13th.
For questions about the closures, please call the project helpline at (877) 215-NEWS (6397).
