(Apple Valley) – We are well into December, and for many that means buying the traditional Christmas to welcome in the holidays. This year you can buy a tree and support the senior class at the Academy of Academic Excellence (AAE).

The Senior Leadership Team at AAE is sponsoring a Christmas Tree Fundraiser this year that aims to help the entire senior class. Current senior Skyler Doss spoke to High Desert Daily about the fundraiser and how the funds will benefit the graduating class, “This Christmas tree sale is to help seniors earn money for the different senior activities such as prom, grad night, homecoming winter formal, or the spring senior trip to Europe.”

The Academy ordered 150 trees ranging from five-nine feet when they started presales in November. Prices start at $35 for a five-six foot tree, with larger trees increasing in price accordingly. Christmas trees are located at both the Lewis Center Mojave River Campus, located at 17500 Mana Rd in Apple Valley and at the Corwin Campus at 18350 Highway 18, also in Apple Valley. Sale times are from 7am – 4pm for both campuses. The Corwin campus is also selling trees this Saturday from 8am-5pm.

If you would like more information on this fundraiser, please contact the Lewis Center for Educational Research at (760) 946-5414 x 352.
