(Victorville) The holiday season is here, and with it comes the rush of buying gifts for the ones we love. Yet, for many children, waking up on Christmas day doesn’t mean there is a present under the tree. Desert Communities United Way and the High Desert’s local Chipotle Mexican Grill locations aim to change that for many.

“We want to see every child receive a gift this year, a smile on a child’s face is the spirit of the Holidays!” stated Desert Communities United Way Volunteer Coordinator Suzy Leanos to High Desert Daily via email. On Tuesday, December 6th, both Victor Valley Chipotle Mexican Grill locations will be taking part in Chipotle’s first inaugural toy drive with Desert Communities United Way. Between 5pm-8pm, bring in a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more and receive a free item: your choice of a burrito, bowl, an order of tacos or a salad.

So why not help make a child’s holidays brighter while getting some free food at the same time? If you have any questions about the toy drive or would like more information on Desert Communities United Way, you can visit their website at www.dcuw.org or give them a call at (760) 242-5370.
