(Victor Valley) – Assemblyman Steve Knight (R-Antelope Valley) recently recognized the contributions of the immediate past administrator of the area’s veterans home.

“The William J. “Pete” Knight Veterans Home has seen two years of growth and prosperity. As the first appointed administrator of our home, Lisa Grod took charge and kept the home moving forward as well as protecting one of our most respected treasures, our Vets. The beginning of any business is difficult, but the beginning of a home that deals with the State of California and the U.S. government is monumental. Our home is a true tribute to the heroes that have donned the uniform, and I am impressed every time I walk the grounds and talk with the residents. I recently presented Lisa with a Resolution from the State Assembly as a token of our appreciation for her efforts and her dedication. We should be proud of our home and the fact that we have one of the six California Veterans homes in our backyard,” said Assemblyman Knight
