(Victorville)– The seven dealerships at the Autopark at Valley Center have teamed up with the VFW and Operation Uplink.  It is their opportunity to Return the Favor to active military personnel stationed overseas this holiday season.

Each dealership will donate $15 per test drive to Operation Uplink. The donation will go to support free phone calls home for active duty personnel stationed overseas. To participate, bring the flyer available on the website or the printed ad in to any dealership, test drive a new or used vehicle, and they will make the donation.

“This is a way for the community to help us support the troops, and it takes very little time,” said David Greiner, President of Greiner Buick GMC. “People can bring their church groups or community groups, or several friends and family members.  Each person can take a test drive, and we’ll donate $15 per test drive to the cause.”

Greiner explained that all of the dealerships in the Autopark have been involved with the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow.  They also participate in special lending programs for military personnel, the SNAC and MILES program. “We have special military pricing and discounts as well.”
