Citizen Patrol Volunteer Academy

(Victorville)–Monday April 2nd, 2012, the Victorville Police Department will be hosting the first class of a month long Citizen Patrol Academy.

Citizen Patrol is a team of highly trained volunteers who enhance vital crime prevention services and community awareness through proactive law enforcement principles. The Citizen Patrol Program is designed for the volunteer who has an interest in helping law enforcement and the community.

If the Citizen Patrol Program sounds like something you would like to be a part of please contact your local Sheriff’s Station for an application.  Applications must be received no later than January 6th, 2012 in order to be considered for this academy. All applicants must pass a background check and oral interview before being accepted into the academy.
