(Victor Valley) The Mojave Water Agency has announced two upcoming events that are open to the public to attend. One will be an information session about the importance of drinking water standards, and the second is a mini tour of two of the vital MWA’s facilities.
The first event, “The ABC’s of Water: How Your Water Agency is Protecting Health and Quality of Life”, takes place on March 27th, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Mojave Water Agency, located at 13846 Conference Center Drive in Apple Valley. The session is the first in a two part series that focuses on drinking water standards and how they insure the safety of the entire community. With guest speakers from the County of San Bernardino Special Districts and the Golden State Water Company, the session looks to be packed with useful information for all. If your are interested, please RSVP by March 26th.
The second event is a Mojave Water Agency Facilities Mini-Tour, which takes place on May 2nd. Beginning with everyone meeting at the MWA building in Apple Valley at 8:00 am, the tour will take the public to two field sites: the Antelope Siphon Site and the Rock Springs Road Recharge Facility Site. The tour is free and is designed to educate the public about the important role the Mojave Water Agency plays in the community. Lunch will also be provided on the tour. If you are interested in attending the tour, an RSVP is required before April 23rd.
