County Children’s Network Announces Awards Breakfast

(Victor Valley)–For the past 13 years, Children’s Network has held their annual “Shine a Light” on Child Abuse Awards Breakfast honoring people and organizations in the community who go above and beyond to help the at-risk children of San Bernardino County.

The Children’s Network breakfast is always held at the end of March as a kick-off to April, Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month.

This year, Children’s Network will host their 14th Annual “Shine a Light” on Child Abuse Awards Breakfast on Thursday, March 29, 2012, in the Valencia Room at the National Orange Show, 690 S. Arrowhead Avenue, San Bernardino, CA.  This year’s honorees include:

Kent Paxton, Lifetime Advocate

Tony Muga, Children and Family Services

Phil Tardanico, Children and Family Services

Jenae Holtz, Community Based Provider- Executive Director, Desert/Mountain SELPA Children’s Center

Joe Staudt, Community Based Provider- Therapist, Childhelp Merv Griffin Village

Deborah Donnelly, Department of Behavioral Health

Bertha Cuellar, Department of Public Health

Henry Rivas, Education, Chaffey College

Cheryl Wishaw, Foster Parent
