(Victor Valley) – The warm, beautiful weather from this weekend continues one more day as a ridge of high pressure starts to weaken over the area. A big change is in store for Tuesday.
Mark Moede, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in San Diego explained, “A powerful cold front will sweep across the high deserts bringing strong winds Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night. 20-40 mph sustained wind with gusts to 60 mph are possible.”
The NWS has issued a High Wind Watch for that time. We could see damaging wind and dust or sand reducing visibilty, impacting driving conditions.
Quite a bit colder too on Tuesday and Wednesday, Moede said. Then high pressure will build Wednesday night setting up warmer days Thursday through the next weekend.
