(Victor Valley)– Sunny and warm for the first part of the week, then a bit cooler as we head toward the weekend.
A ridge of high pressure will build over SoCal during the next few days bringing clear skies, warmer days, and strong and gusty winds below favored passes and canyons. NWS says the High Desert will see highs in the mid to upper 70s, and lows at night in the upper 30s to low 40s.
Cooler conditions are expected to return by Thursday as a trough of low pressure moves into the area. Models are forecasting gusty winds for the mountains and deserts once again with highs only reaching the low to mid 60s.
High pressure is expected to build again next weekend bringing warmer and drier conditions to our area. It looks as though Easter weekend may be the nicest weekend we have seen in a while, according to the National Weather Service.
