(Victor Valley)–Activity: Southern California Edison (SCE), as part of its Victor-Savage transmission project, will be installing electrical transmission wires that span the Interstate 15 Freeway in the Victorville area.
There will be a series of brief freeway traffic interruptions for freeway commuters early Saturday morning in that area, as described below. These required temporary traffic interruptions during wire installation are being performed under approval and in coordination with Caltrans and the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
When: Saturday, April 28, 2012. Approximately between 4:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Each temporary traffic interruption will be approximately five (5) to seven (7) minutes.
Where: The Interstate 15 Freeway in the Victorville area, between the Bear Valley Road exit and the La Mesa Road / Nisqualli Road exit. Both the northbound and southbound freeway lanes will be affected.
NOTE: Both Amargosa Road and Mariposa Road that parallel the Interstate 15 Freeway in that area will also experience brief traffic interruptions during this activity.
