(Victor Valley) – You may want to check the air filter in your A/C unit, or service and set up your evaporative cooler because the temperatures will stay very warm this week here in the desert.
The National Weather Service in San Diego says that a ridge of high pressure will continue to bring seasonal temperatures in the low to mid 90s this week, with Wednesday being the warmest at 96 degrees. Gusty westerly winds will develop each afternoon, with gusts 30-35 mph. Temps will cool down into the mid 50s at night.
By Thursday a trough of low pressure should cool things down a bit, dropping temperatures into the mid 80s. However the ridge of high pressure should build again by the end of next weekend into early next week, pulling the temps back into the 90s again.
