(Victor Valley)–The Business Showcase Expo promotes buying goods and services locally and provides an avenue for companies from various industries to connect with one another and draw potential customers. As part of the Expo, the Chamber connects organizations and showcases a block of over 50 area businesses and non-profits. To celebrate the 2012 Summer Olympics, this year’s theme is about growth, development, opportunities, competition, and winning more business.
In keeping with the Olympic theme, committee members will be voting on the best-themed booth, with medals being awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Attendees will also have a chance to win an authentic gold Olympic coin courtesy of Glenda McCormick, Victor Valley Personnel Services. “This three-hour event is a fantastic opportunity for member businesses to showcase their company’s products and services to new potential contacts, clients and suppliers from around the High Desert,” said Ashley Voss, ICR Staffing Services, Inc. and Co-Chair of this year’s event.
“The Victorville Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo is a great place to make strong contracts. It allows you to actually have a conversation with those approaching your booth and build relationships, not just hand out business cards.” The event is designed to be a drop-in affair and people are welcome to come by when they can and leave whenever they need to. Enjoy hors d ‘oeuvres, refreshments, and the antics of the High Desert’s popular Dwight Johnson, El Dorado Broadcasters and Chris Ackerman, Signify Designs, emcees for the Expo.
Admission is free. Call DeAnna today at (760) 245-6506 to inquire about sponsorship opportunities and remaining booth space or visit our website at www.vvchamber.com.
