(Victor Valley) – June usually brings “June Gloom” to the areas down the hill, plus cooler temperatures and windy conditions to the High Desert. This weekend we are seeing just that.
For today we will start to see a change as a warming trend begins that should last into mid-week. High pressure is building over the Great Basin, which includes Nevada, parts of Arizona, and far eastern California. This means we’ll see clear skies and warmer temps, and windy conditions through the Cajon Pass. The warmest day looks to be Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in San Diego. We’ll see temperatures in the upper 90s during the day and low 60s at night.
Temps will begin to cool down again starting Thursday and lasting into the weekend as another trough of low pressure deepens over the west coast. This will bring cloudy conditions for the inland areas and gusty winds to the High Desert once again.
