(Apple Valley)– – With a spectacular view of the Victor Valley behind them and a bright vision for the future in front of them, 16 prominent leaders of the college and community stepped forward to accept positions on the Victor Valley College Foundation Board of Directors. They were installedby Victor Valley College Alumni and San Bernardino County Superior Court Commissioner David Proulx who led the official oath of office in one of the high desert’s most beautiful new homes.

The installation was hosted on June 28 in the Apple Valley home of Larry Cusack and Vicki Langley and catered by Wild Willies Smokehouse. More than 70 people shared in the event which marks the beginning of a new year for the Victor Valley College Foundation. The Foundation Board of Directors, which includes 33 members, has two remaining vacancies which may be filled this summer.
The Victor Valley College Foundation gives opportunities to people with dreams by providing scholarships to hard-working students, making grants to innovative college faculty, purchasing training equipment for college programs and promoting life-changing educational experiences. The Foundation’s mission is simply to make friends and raise funds to help Victor Valley College serve our community.
