(Victor Valley)- – More hot and windy weather is in store for the first week of July across the High Desert.
The National Weather Service in San Diego says we will see sunny and hot days this week, with windy conditions in the afternoon and evenings. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 90s each day, with wind 10 to 15 mph, gusting to 30 mph in the evenings. Lows overnight will dip into the upper 50s and low 60s.
For the 4th of July holiday high pressure will start to expand back into our area, warming things up. However NWS says we might see some subtropical moisture starting to move into the area bringing high clouds, but it is not known just yet weather we could see some thunderstorms develop.
Looking ahead to next weekend we should see more of the same – sunny, warm days and clear, cool, breezy nights. Just about right for this time of year!
