(Apple Valley )- Local Police and Target Stores will send a message to criminals on August 7th when National Night Out fights back against crime with a community gathering.
National Night Out is designed to: heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and show support for law enforcement partners in our community.
Send a message to criminals by letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back by joining the celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Super Target Store located at 20288 Hwy 18 in Apple Valley.
The Apple Valley Police Department will have information on crime prevention, No Drugs America and the Apple Valley Police Activities League. Children’s fingerprinting will be available and McGruff the crime dog will be on scene. The California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department will have vehicles on display and interactive exhibits and activities will be offered by the Apple Valley Fire Department, Target Stores and the Town of Apple Valley Park and Recreation Department.
