High Desert Daily
(Apple Valley) The Mojave Water Agency (MWA) is vital to the High Desert community. Yet, for many, the question is often asked, “what exactly do they do?” Well, come this November, you can find out first hand the important role MWA plays in our community with a mini tour of their facilities.
On November 8th, 2012, MWA will hold a mini tour of two of their facilities: the Antelope Siphon Site and the Rock Springs Road Recharge Facility Site. The tour includes visiting the two field sites, which will provide community members a first hand experience on how the MWA operates and it’s important role in maintaining the economic vitality for our very own region. Transportation will be provided from MWA’s Apple Valley office to the two sites, and lunch will be provided.
To RSVP for this event, please call Gloria Golike at (760) 946-7001. An RSVP is required to attend, as space is limited. The deadline to RSVP is October 29th, 2012.
