A ridge of high pressure will expand over the area this week, bringing much warmer conditions to Southern California. Temps will increase each day, 103 degrees for Wednesday’s high, 104 for Thursday, and 106 for Friday’s high temperature. Overnight lows should drop to the low 70’s.
Some subtropical moisture may move through the region at times with a slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible this afternoon and again by the weekend.
We should see light wind in the afternoons, 5 to 10 mph becoming light in the evening.
