By Staff Reports

(Apple Valley) – Are you a shutter bug?  Do you love to go out and take pictures of the people and events you see around you, and then share them with your friends and family?  Then this invitation is for you! The Town of Apple Valley invites local amateur and professional photographers to take their best shot…and then submit them for consideration in the 2013 Apple Valley Community Calendar that will celebrate the Town’s 25th anniversary.

People who live, work, volunteer or attend school in Apple Valley are eligible to submit entries that highlight the Town’s quarter century of incorporation or demonstrate why Apple Valley was voted the “Best Place to Live in the High Desert” this year.

The contest is open to both adults and children and recognition will be given in both professional and amateur categories. Selected contest entries may be published in our 2013 Community Calendar.
