(Victor Valley) – The warm temperatures we’ve been enjoying will drop slightly for the first part of the week. A trough of low pressure moving to the northeast into Utah will bring gusty winds to the mountains and deserts, and cooler temperatures to Southern California for the next few days.
The high for today should top out around 90 degrees. We’ll see afternoon wind kick up to 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Overnight lows will drop into the mid 50s with wind gusting to 35 mph.
For tomorrow the highs should only top out around 85 degrees with the gusty wind continuing. Overnight lows will drop into the mid 50s with wind gusting to 25 mph.
Starting Wednesday things will warm up once again through the weekend. Highs will reach into the low 90s. Moisture from hurricane Miriam is forecast to drift into the area by the weekend bringing clouds to the area, according to forecast models.
