High Desert Daily
(Victor Valley) – The warm, moist air will remain over our area, actually over all of Southern California, for at least one more day. This means another chance for showers and thunderstorms for the High Desert and mountains once again today and tonight.
The National Weather Service in San Diego says we have a 40% chance of rain today with a high around 92 degrees. Winds will increase to 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph by this afternoon. The chance for rain continues tonight with wind and lows in the 60s.
Starting tomorrow the conditions that are bringing us this monsoonal weather will begin to move farther east into Arizona. We should see cooler temperatures on Tuesday and mostly cloudy skies.
A warming trend begins Wednesday through Saturday as high pressure builds aloft. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s into the weekend. Overnight lows should be in the mid 60s.
