Free Donation Guide Available from City of Victorville Recycling

(Victorville)–Have you ever wondered where you can recycle an old appliance?  Or where you can donate clothes?  Or what to do with an old pair of eyeglasses, an old cell phone, or even a pair of crutches?

The answers to these and many other questions can be found in the City of Victorville Recycling Program’s newly revised Donation Guide.  The Donation Guide tells Victor Valley residents “Where To Get Rid of Your Stuff” and provides information on where to recycle or donate “out of the ordinary” household items.  The Donation Guide includes information on groups that can pick up your items or where you can drop them off.  It also lists what groups give tax receipts for charitable donations.

Victor Valley residents can get a copy of the Reuse Guide in three ways:

  1. Go to the City of Victorville Recycling Program recycling information website at:  www.VictorvilleRecycles.com.  Look in the “Recycling Information” section, “Reuse Guide.”
  2. Send a note to:  City of Victorville Recycling Program, Attn:  Reuse Guide, P.O. Box 5001, Victorville, CA  92393-5001; or
  3. Call the City of Victorville Recycling Program Hotline at 760-955-8615.
