(Hesperia) – As part of their commitment to keeping the community clean, the City of Hesperia holds two Community Clean Up Days each year – in April and October. On the second Saturday in April and the fourth Saturday in October, the City hosts activities to clean up vacant areas and encourages citizens to get involved.
Volunteers work in groups at multiple locations throughout the City, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. For each event, volunteers receive a free event t-shirt, bags and gloves.
Residents wishing to volunteer for the upcoming Community Clean Up Day should fill out a Registration/Waiver Form for each individual volunteer and return it to the City of Hesperia by October 11. Please note, to receive an event t-shirt, forms must be received no later than October 4. Forms can be faxed to (760) 947-2881, or mailed to the City of Hesperia, Environmental Programs Coordinator, 9700 Seventh Avenue, Hesperia, CA 92345.
