(Victor Valley)–“Games Around the World” is the theme of two post-Christmas Family Fun Days at the San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands. The family programs, included with paid museum admission, run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27 and Friday, December 28.
“Everyone can play, from the littlest to the biggest, the youngest to the most experienced,” said Jolene Redvale, the museum’s curator of education. “Come prepared to relax and plan to stay awhile. We’ll have active games and table games to play, and even a whole variety of solitaires. Some of the games will be familiar; others will be new experiences.”
Some of the games visitors can play include Fox and Geese, Kono, Tower of Hanoi, Achi and Picaria, Horseshoe, Mu Torere, Skittles, Nine Men’s Morris, and Nine Pins, among others. Visitors will be invited to make their own Dog and Jackal game to take home. If the weather is nice, the fun will spread outside for croquet, blongo, jump rope and more active play.
