(Victor Valley)- – Cal State San Bernardino will celebrate its 12th December graduation on Saturday, Dec. 8, with two commencement ceremonies.
Of the 1,600-plus students eligible to graduate in December, more than 850 are expected to participate in the ceremonies, which will be held at the university’s 3,500-seat Coussoulis Arena.
Overflow seating will be available in HP 124, where guests can watch the ceremony live via television.
The first ceremony will be at 8:45 a.m. for CSUSB’s colleges of Business and Public Administration and Social and Behavioral Sciences. The second ceremony will be at 1:45 p.m. for the colleges of Arts and Letters, Education and Natural Sciences. Parking for the ceremonies is free.
The commencement ceremonies will also be broadcast live on the Web. Visit the CSUSB Academic Computing and Media Live WebCast page at http://commencement.csusb.edu/webCast.html for more information.
This year’s December commencement exercises also marks the 10th year that the graduation has been separated into two ceremonies to accommodate an increasing number of students who prefer to participate in the fall commencement.
The December ceremonies are especially popular with international and out-of-state students who have completed their studies and are likely unable to return for the traditional June graduation.
