(Victor Valley)–In an effort to maintain effective and responsive governance throughout in his District, Supervisor James Ramos has added a Community Liaison to his staff for Barstow and Lucerne Valley. The Board of Supervisors approved the contract for Beverly Lowry at today’s Board meeting.
Beverly, a longtime resident of Barstow, has served as a Field Representative at both the County and State level. She has also served on the Barstow Heights Community Services District and currently serves as a Director with the Mojave Water Agency.
Beverly will work to bring awareness to issues facing the Barstow and Lucerne Valley communities and residents. She will be responsible for keeping the Supervisor informed of ongoing projects and community needs.
“Beverly Lowry has been a strong advocate for the communities in the High Desert for many years. I believe she is well-equipped to serve Barstow and Lucerne Valley as the Community Liaison. We look forward to the work we have ahead of us and are happy to have Beverly working with us to serve the Third District.”
