(Apple Valley)–Students age 10 to 17 years old with sympathy for the slithery or fondness of the furry are invited to join the Town of Apple Valley for the Junior Pet Keeper program in March.
This spring session will focus on reptile and small animal care. Courses will include live animal encounters, basic animal responsibility, pet health care, arts, crafts, fun and games. Students may choose from two convenient spring break sessions: March 11-15 or March 18-22, both held at the Apple Valley Municipal Animal Shelter: 22131 Powhatan Road.
Sleeping in is still allowed as all classes are held from 1 to 5 p.m. and cost $30 per participant.
