(Victor Valley)–Due to increases in the real estate market, the San Bernardino County Assessor will be possibly raising the taxable value of over 100,000 parcels. The Assessor’s office will be issuing press releases via newspaper, television and radio. Reviews begin in May and will take effect July 1, 2013.
Back in 2008, the Assessor’s Office reviewed approximately 235,000 single-family residences and condominiums for the 2009 assessment roll under the Decline in Market Value provisions. The value of many parcels reduced under this provision for 2009 and subsequent years may now be due for an increase.
