15/215 Devore Interchange Project – Community Meeting

By Staff Reports

Purpose of Community Information Meeting

(Victor Valley)–The Devore Interchange Project development team invites residents, businesses and organizations to a community meeting to learn the latest information about the project design and construction timeline. Construction management, Caltrans and San Bernardino Associated Governments representatives will staff stations and have exhibits on hand to address questions. The meeting is part of an ongoing public outreach effort to have dialogue with the community about the design-build project.

Project Overview

The purpose of the Devore Interchange Project is to reduce congestion, reduce accidents, and improve freeway operation through the Devore Interchange in San Bernardino County. The project limits on I-15 are from 2.3 miles south to 2.0 miles north of the I-15/215 interchange and on I-215 from 1 mile south to the I-15/215 interchange.

Improvements include the addition of one northbound lane and one southbound lane, a truck by-pass lane that separates trucks from automobiles bringing the interchange up to operational standards and reconnects Route 66 (Cajon Boulevard).
