(Victorville)–Alaska USA Federal Credit Union celebrated the opening of the new financial center on Monday, May 20. About 75 people joined Alaska USA staff for a ribbon cutting ceremony and tours of the building, including representatives for Congressman Paul Cook, State Senator Steve Knight, Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, as well as members of the Victorville Chamber of Commerce. Many attendees also entered to win a grand prize drawing for $1,000 cash. Anyone who comes to the financial center by Friday, May 24, can enter the drawing and take a tour of the facility.
The three-story, 16,000 square-foot building offers expanded financial services in one central location. The building houses an Alaska USA branch on the ground floor, with a self-service center, walk-up and drive-up ATMs, and drive-up service. In addition, the building includes Alaska USA business and commercial services and Alaska USA Mortgage Company. The financial center is located at 14250 7th Street on the corner of Valley Center Drive in Victorville.
Alaska USA worked with California contractors to remodel the landmark building, including two from the High Desert. JB Specialty Contractor from Apple Valley provided demolition services and Pacific Western Communications, Inc. from Hesperia installed network wiring.
