Congressman Cook’s Photo Competition Now Open

(High Desert)– Congressman Paul Cook is hosting a new competition for a district photograph to display in his DC office.

Wanting to showcase the beauty that is the 8th district, Cook is looking for pictures of landscapes like Joshua Tree, Mono Lake, Death Valley, the Mojave Preserve, Devil’s Post Pile, the San Bernardino National Forest, Zzyzx, and the Amboy Crater, or historic buildings like Camp Ryan, Kelso Depot, the Integratron, Calico Ghost Town, the Inyo County Courthouse, and El Garces in Needles.

The winning picture will be displayed in the DC office and will become his Facebook page’s cover photo for the remainder of the month of June. Click for submission details or visit his Facebook page.
