(High Desert)– Southern California gas prices are steadily increasing just as 34.7 million drivers are expected to travel this Memorial Day weekend. Flags will be drawn, BBQ’s will be lit and families will hit the road to kick off the start of the summer vacation season.
How will the popular Guys in Blue continue their mission of Helpful this holiday weekend? Recognized by their Honda blue polos, the Helpful teams will surprise loyal drivers by filling up their tanks for the holiday! Friday, May 24th and Memorial Day, May 27th, many lucky Honda driver’s will be met with complimentary gas when visiting stations across SoCal – from LA, Whittier, Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, NoHo, Pasadena and Glendale, to Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Moreno Valley, Temecula, Fontana, Ontario.
WHY: It’s their job to be Helpful. Lending a hand in the community and giving back to loyal drivers is just another way the SoCal Honda Dealers are continuing their commitment to Helpful, now in its 7th year.
Since January, the Guys in Blue have: surprised thousands of residents with complimentary roses on Valentine’s Day; helped more than 60 dogs and cats find loving new homes; gave Mother Earth a few new trees by distributing thousands of reusable bags to residents in partnership with TreePeople; and most recently awarded teachers across SoCal for their efforts over Teacher Appreciation Week in May. Residents may have also spotted Blue Shirts around their community doing other random acts of helpful – such as cleaning up local parks and beaches, opening doors, carrying groceries, providing umbrella escorts and handing out water to people working out in public places. Why? It’s really their job to be Helpful!
