(Victorville) – Victorville Motors, Inc. helped raise $3,540 in funding for Phelan Elementary School through the Chrysler brand’s Drive for the Kids™ program. The fundraising event was held on April 25, 2013, in conjunction with the Phelan Elementary School’s “Have Lunch with Your Kid” event.
“The Chrysler brand and our local dealerships are committed to giving back to the communities where we do business,” said Jason Stoicevich, Director of the Los Angeles Business Center for Chrysler Group LLC. “We are extremely proud to support both schools and organizations, as they encourage student development and growth.”
Participants earned a $10 contribution to the school on their behalf from the Chrysler brand by taking a brief test drive in a 2013 model Town & Country minivan – highest ranked in loyalty 11 years in a row, as well as other Chrysler vehicles made available for test drives thanks to the Green Team of Clay Center, Inc dealership.
At the conclusion of the program, the school with the highest number of test drives in each one of the five geographic regions (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Central, and West) will win an additional $5,000, for a total of $25,000 in additional funding from Chrysler through the Drive for the Kids™ program.
Since 1993, when Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids™, Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators in communities across the nation. Chrysler has contributed nearly $5 million directly to local schools for student needs, from playgrounds and field trips to reading programs and new computers. Chrysler is proud of this tradition of community involvement. For more information, visit www.drive4kids.com. To learn more about Chrysler Group, LLC, visit www.chrysler.com.
