(FORT IRWIN)– BOSS (Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers) and Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) are hosting the 3rd Annual BOSS Cali Swag Car Show on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Fort Irwin Town Center. Event admission is free and open to the public.
The annual BOSS Cali Swag Car Show is a highly anticipated event for the Fort Irwin community and the surrounding high desert areas.
“BOSS is a vital program for our single Soldiers across the Army that is facilitated by the Soldier, for the Soldier. Community service, quality of life and recreation and leisure are the three pillars which encompasses the foundation of the program. The BOSS program allows Soldiers to have input into activities, programs and services that affect the single Soldier directly. The annual Cali Swag Car Show is their event and we are all looking forward to another great day,” exclaims Michael Owens, Fort Irwin BOSS advisor.
For those wishing to enter their cars into the car show, early entry fee is $25 and $30 the day of the event. The public is welcome and will need to show a valid driver’s license, car registration and proof of insurance upon entry to Fort Irwin and the National Training Center.
