Caltrans And CHP Warn Motorists Of Double Fine Zones And Driving Under The Influence

Brenda Alcazar, the mother of Jesse Silva (SEMA Construction employee who was hit by a drunk driver on the State Route 91 High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Project)

WHAT: Inform motorists of the recently reduced speed limit and double fine zone throughout the 91 HOV Project and other applicable construction projects in the Inland Empire. Motorists will also be reminded of the “Move Over” law and zero-tolerance for driving under the influence.

WHEN: Monday, July 1, 2013 10:00 a.m.

WHERE: 10th Street and Lime Street in Downtown Riverside. Go south on 10th St. from Lime Street about 50 yards. 10th St. dead ends against the new retaining wall of westbound SR 91between Mission and 14th Street exits. Ample parking is available.
